How it works?

Getting cash for old CDs, DVDs and Games is as simple as 1,2,3 so we’ve put together our quick user guide so you can get the best out of using TurnIntoCash.com.


1. Enter The Barcode


  • Type in the barcodes of your old CDs, DVDs or Games …. Usually 12 or 13 digits long
  • We tell you how much each CD, DVD or Game is worth
  • Build up your trade in
  • Don’t forget you can “Save For Later” and come back to add more items from ANY COMPUTER.
  • Once you have traded in the old CDs, DVDs and Games you want to sell just click on COMPLETE TRADE, follow the instructions and we will email you details of what to do next.

2.Check your email and print the Freepost label


  • As soon as you click Complete we send you an email on what to do next as well as your unique Label and Barcode
  • Check the email and pack your old CDs, DVDs and Games that you have agreed to sell us
  • Print out the Freepost label and barcode then attach it to your box
  • We recommend you put a copy of the email inside your box as well.
  • Take the box to your local Post Office and don’t forget to ask for “PROOF OF POSTAGE”
  • If you’ve decided to sell us 50 or more CDs, DVDs and Games we will send you details of our fully insured FREE courier service.

3.Sit Back and Wait For The Money


  • As soon as we receive your CDs, DVDs and Games we will check them, confirm the value by email and then generate your cheque payment.
  • If you send more than one box we will handle each box individually so you will receive confirmation of what is in that box only. Boxes sent together will not always arrive together.
